Monday: Write a couplet (poem) about Christmas.
Tuesday: Write your own acrostic poem – use DECEMBER or CHRISTMAS
Wednesday: Write your own rhyming poem using the pattern A B A B
Thursday: Choose your favourite poem from either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday night and publish it. Mrs G will give you publishing paper, just ask her.

All of your Extended Learning is revising the learning we do in class. This helps you, your parents and your teacher see whether you understood the work we did. Extended Learning helps you manage your time, builds independence, helps you organise your ‘after school’ activities and time.
Homework Club: It seems we need a reminder to all grade 3 & 4 students. Every Wednesday lunchtime you are welcome to come to P8 (Mrs G’s room) and do your homework (Mrs G & Mrs F even help!)

One day I was at school. When I was at school Milo got out. He went out and then he went inside, he was looking around. He found an apple, he had some but he didn’t like it. He looked everywhere for some food. He found lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, cucumbers and some pears, but he didn’t like them. Then he heard something and he went to see what it was. It was a rat. Milo said, “do you know where the best vegetables are?”
“All the nice vegetables are in there,” answered the rat. He was pointing his claw at the fridge. So Milo went in the fridge. He didn’t like anything in the fridge, but there was a yellow thing he hadn’t tried before. He took a bite, he loved it. He took every yellow thing and went back to his cage. When I came home he was fat from eating corn.

Last night I went to the movies. I sore three other teachers their. We said hello and then went to see our movies. Mine was funny and i laughed a lot. Mr Gould went to an other movie with Mrs F and her husband.
Once apon a time there was a boy called Alax Rider. His dad was a spy and he didnt know that. (if his dad is a spy then he is a spy). He went out one day and when he got home and read in the newspaper and it said that if your name is Alax Rider then you are a spy. He couldnt beleve it he was a spy. So he went in the woods to fight evil. He got cool gadgits. while he was in the woods he sore a giant he had to fight it but before he went to attack it it stopped. Then James popped out then James said “I killed your dad i will kill you too” Then Alax said ” No you wont”. So they started to fight. Alax killed the giant so he fighted James. Then James said “we are twins” then Alax said “no we are not, where did you sleep” Then James said ” I slept in the bace mint” “did you” said Alax “Yes I did” said James.”Come back to our mother” siad Alax. “Ok” said James. “YES!!!!” said Alax.

Many years ago in a faraway land there were twins. Their names were Sam and Andrew. They were 18. They were best friends but Andrew had a secret shhhh! The twins did everything together but Sam felt something was not right…
“Andrew are you evil?” asked Sam
“No, don’t be silly” lied Andrew with a funny look on his face. “Why?” he asked.
“Well it’s just that you have a plan to take over the world” Sam said
“Hey! You’re not aloud to look in my draw” Andrew yelled
“Well sorry it’s just you don’t care about me any more,” he yelled back. Sam wanted to know more about Andrew. He went Mum. “O.K.” Said his Mum “your 17 and he is not your brother and you are the only good one in the family”
Sam ran outside and yelled, “You can’t take over the world”
“And you can’t stop me because I have a take – over – the – world – machine. If you push this button it will blow up the – “BOOM!” Sam pushed the button and the whole world blew up. It is quite a sad ending but at least they didn’t take over the world. The End by Elise age 8

ones upona time there was a girl named Phoebe she hade a a friend called Erica they went to school together .One day at school phoebe saw someone she had never seen befor sitting under a tree none of the people in the school went there because it was scary and was out of bounds so the next day she went to ask her teacher who the person was hertecer replide with red cheeks and started to tell the storry she talled her ……. well about two years ago there was a dog that whent to our school…. STOP….. said Phoebe and Erica a dog yes just let me finish the dog was 20 years old . the oldest dog on erth . the next day there was a new kid her name was Mia she was buttyful the most buttyful of all (in the school) every one liked her the dog had no atenchen anay more and ran awaythe sad dog found a tree to rest its head and now hes 22 and is still there.
